Description: We are proud to start financially supporting this ministry in Romania in 2016.  The objectives of CTL's Home of Hope are to increased the quality of care and child protection to children that are permanently or temporarily separated from their parents and encourage personal development, following the Gospel principles, by establishing a family/ residential service.

In 2018, we will enter a new stage in our ministry partnership with CTL.  In which, we will be financing two new projects at 100%.

How this project shares God's love and his gospel?

 

• We have started to serve the community through a program for families in needs. One of our main concerns is how to help the parents provide for their families. Our team works hard to help them find the best job based on their education, abilities or interests but for some of them like: women with young children, teenagers that are in school, people with no experience or job qualification, is sometimes impossible to find a job.

• In the past years, we felt like God wanted to lead our team to give a hand to these people that pass financial difficulties.

• This is another way to equip the moms from our family program and teenagers from orphanages, to be able to provide for their families or for themselves. Our desire is to teach them to sew and to be able with the products that they are making to sell the and to increase the income for their families.

• Also, the young kids from Romanian governmental centers (orphanages) they don’t know to do anything, they don’t have any skills and when they will be out from the orphanages they need to be independent. Teaching them to sew they can discover and develop these skills into a business being able to successful and independent.

• Currently we have 6 sewing machines but no resources (materials/fabric and other supplies) to make this project impactful in the life of our beneficiaries.  

• Our goal is to have this project twice per month, in each group being 5 children/woman from different orphanages or poor families. Each group will be in the program for 3 months.

• We wish that, with God's help, we would teach more girls and women to sew.
